To create my 5 page zine, I used InDesign:




         1. Firstly, I needed to create a document with the correct layout. I wanted 5 pages on my zine, a margin of 13mm, a gutter of 5mm and a bleed of 5mm. After I had put all this into the layout, I created the document.

         2. I then added two columns to each page of my zine by opening Master Pages, selecting layout, then selecting Margins and Columns and putting in the number of columns I wanted.

         3. Next, I doubled clicked on a page of my zine to close the Master Page and allow the columns to be added.

         4. Finally I could begin adding content to my zine



For my zine, I based it on Sustainable and Ethical fashion as I felt I had a lot of information on this topic and so I would be able to focus of the design and layout rather than the writing. I really liked the front page as it was simple but the font was was sophisticated and elegant but I found that the photograph was too unfocused.
